No liability will be accepted for the loss of or damage to property belonging to participants or spectators whilst on the premises of Wanda’s Swimming School or any other premises used for the purpose of these lessons Dress code All swimmers are required to wear a swimming costume, strictly no bikinis for the female swimmers. All swimmers must wear a swimming cap for hygiene purposes as well as keeping the hair out of the swimming pool filter Weather For the safety of our swimmers and instructors, no swimming will take place during thunder and lightning storms. Unfortunately, these lessons will not be made up. NB. Transport for our swimmers will not take place in heavy rain and thunderstorms due to the safety of our swimmers. Fees Fees are payable in advance and by no later than the 3rd of each month. If fees are not paid by the 3rd of each month, lessons will automatically be terminated and the remaining fees for the month will be due and payable. You will be liable for any administration fees resulting from the collection of outstanding debt. Fees are not refundable under any circumstances. No fees are refundable for reasons of illness, holiday or any other reason. Should a swimmer not be present for any period, for whatever reason, the monthly fees will still remain due and payable until such time as notice is received. Make-up lessons Make-up lessons will be offered at the discretion of the Owners and Coaches of Wanda’s Swimming School. Swimmers will be afforded sufficient notice in the case of a make-up lesson should the lesson be canceled by the swimming school. Make- up lessons will not be carried over for longer than 4 weeks. Lessons canceled on the day of the lesson will not be rescheduled or made up unless a sick note is provided. Scheduled make up lessons that are not attended will be forfeited. Cancellation of contract One months (30 days) written notice is required in the event of cancellation of this contract. Notice is to be given before the 3rd of the month. Cancellations will not be accepted from the month of November. Lessons: The duration of the lessons will vary from one swimmer to another. As a swimmer becomes more confident in the water the duration of the lesson increases. The lesson will be between 20 and 30 minutes. The Coach will use their discretion in determining the duration of the lesson, taking into consideration the swimmer’s ability at all times. Swimming lessons are given throughout the year. Public Holidays Wanda’s Swimming School will be closed on all Public Holidays. Any lessons that fall on a Public Holiday will be for the swimmer to arrange for a make up lesson. Parking The parking at the pool is restricted and we need to follow some parking rules in order to keep the neighborhood happy. Please request the parking info from Admin. No loud music is to be played from the vehicles. Outdoor and Indoor Please keep the noise levels at a reasonable level. No cellphone calls to be taken in the pool area as this can disrupt the lesson. Parents and guardians are asked to be watching from the waiting area as this will assist the instructor to have the swimmers full attention during the lesson. In compliance with Health Regulations, any child suffering from a contagious ailment will NOT be allowed to swim until a doctor certifies that the child may resume lessons. Children with diarrhea, head lice and ringworm will also not be allowed to swim. *NO ALCOHOL will be allowed on the premises Rules and Regulation of Wanda’s Swimming School will be abided by. Any person not complying with these rules and regulations will be asked to leave the premises. A copy of these rules and regulations will be provided on request.
